Dissemination

We will announce via different ways to inform More than 3000 end users benefit from the facilities of the project. These users represent different sectors of the university such as:

Colleges:

Colleges inside and outside the Campus, and one college outside Assiut (220 Km from Assiut.)

University hospitals:

• University hospital.
• Student hospital.
• Veteran hospital.

Institutes:

•  South Egypt Cancer Institute.

•  Sugar Technology Research Institute.

 Student housing:

• Male student housing
• Female student housing.

 University administration:

• Different departments.

•  University guesthouse.

•  Conference rooms.

Each will feel the different advantages of upgrading the infrastructure such advantages can be summarized in the following: 

1. The connection rate will be increased from the existing 2Mbps to the planned speed.

2. Reliability of the service will be improved.

 Sustainability

•  Equipment

The equipment will last for least 5 years (life time) replacement of such equipment will be paid by Assiut University.

•        Running cost 

          1.Maintenance carried by local staff as we did in the past 8 Years.Each individual will receive proper training during the duration of the project.

            2. Professional maintenance contract with companies paid by the university as we did in the past.

Leased line will be paid by the university as in the past. The project will finance the yearly budget for the rent of the leased line during the contract period. The university will continue paying the rent, which is expected to be greatly reduced in the future.
