  Objectives

1-    Registration of different abdominal disorders in cattle and buffaloes.

2-    Assessment of methods and techniques used for early diagnosis and differential diagnosis of different abdominal disorders.

3-    Application of all different methods of medical and surgical treatment of all affected animal.

4-    Post graduate courses for veterinarians and genereal practitioners.

5-    Publication of several handouts and manuscripts depending on the results obtained from the project.

 

Results of the project

1-    Diagnosis and treatment of 457 cattle and buffaloes during the first turn of the project.

2-    Diagnosis and treatment of 362 cattle and buffaloes during the first and second years of the second turn of the project.

3-    Several field  visits to  some villages  of Assiut,  Sohag and El-Menia provinces for treatment of affected animal.

4-    Publication of two handouts for farmers and veterinary practitioners.

5-    Publication of the following papers in international congresses and journals.
