In a new achievement added to its record of excellence and leadership,
Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Ahmed Elminshawy, President of Assiut University, and Professor Dr. Gamal Badr, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Hassan Hawil, Dean of the Faculty of Education, the Faculty of Education has achieved a new milestone, adding to its record of excellence and leadership. The Faculty of Education Library has been awarded first place as the best library among all Assiut University libraries.
This achievement came after an evaluation by the University Libraries Committee, where the Faculty Library received an "Excellent" rating of 97%, in recognition of its distinguished scientific and research services, its provision of a modern learning environment, its continuous development of digital services, its support for students, researchers, and people with disabilities, and its application of the highest standards of quality, health, and occupational safety.
The committee also commended the diversity of information sources, the availability of electronic databases, the digital infrastructure, and the wide range of devices and services offered to users, as well as the efficiency of the library staff and the effectiveness of their communication with students and researchers.
Professor Hassan Hawil, Dean of the Faculty, extends his sincere thanks and appreciation to Professor Gamal Hassan, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, Professor Amani Mohamed Sharif, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, the Faculty Library Committee, and all the staff of the Faculty Library, in recognition of their dedicated efforts and effective contributions, which have been instrumental in achieving this commendable accomplishment.
