Courses and Levels:
The
ELC provides English courses at four levels: elementary,
intermediate, upper intermediate, and advanced. These levels are
determined on the basis of a placement test that is administrated to
the applicant. According to the score of the placement test, the
applicants are categorized into the appropriate level. At the end of
a course, each learner who passes the examination is given an
official certificate signed by the university president and the ELC
director. The grade system followed by the ELC is (Excellent
90-100%, Very good 80-89%, Good 65-79%, and Accepted 50- 64 %)
In addition to the regular courses and levels
, the center provides TOEFL preparation courses jointly with the
English language department, Faculty of Arts.
