REQUIRMENTS
FOR APPOINTMENT AS ACADEMIC STAFF

Members of Academic Staff are:
1.
Lecturers.
2.
Associate Professors.
3.
Professors.
Every member of the academic staff must hold a Ph.D. degree.
A
Lecturer must have passed at least six years since the Bachelor degree.
An Associate Professor must been a lecture for at least five years. For
promotion to associate professorship, a lecture must have published original
research, which satisfies the Board of a Permanent Scientific Committee. The
committee includes 7 senior professors of the Egyptian Universities.
A Professor must occupy the post of associate professor for at least five
years, and must have published original research, which satisfies the Board of a
Permanent Scientific Committee for the promotion of professorship.
REQUIRMENTS
FOR APPOINTMENT AS TEACHING ASSISTANTS
Demonstrators
and assistant lectures: Demonstrates are chosen from the distinguished graduates
who have completed the Bachelor Degree. Assistant lecturer must hold a Master
Degree.
ADMISSION
REQUIREMENTS
Admission is
determined by scores in Egyptian Secondary School Certificate or an equiralent
certificate, geographical distribution, and the acts issued by the Supreme
Council of the Egyptian Universities in this respect.
