Audio and Video devices Unit

It contains the recent audio and video devices. This Unit is equipped to provide the scientific training for students and to carry out the faculty protocols. It is also conditioned with high quality air conditions.

• It contains screens, TV sets and radio cassettes

• Many scientific videotapes for training

• Computers and Video cassettes

• Many Overhead projectors and cameras

• Data show devices

• About 600 colourred slides, catalogues and spotlights

• Microfische devices and many other advanced devices

Laboratories:-

The Faculty has different labs. for student's training avaitable for each academic year. There are maniquines and artificial skeletons, some scientific devices such as Blood Pressore Measuring  device and Blood sugar measuring device

  Computer Units:-

The faculty has 2 computer units that contain advanced computer devices:-

1) Computer lab :-

There are about 17 computers and 12 internet points the lab. Provides practical training on computer courses As the lab. has internet points, it there fore provides the staff members with the recent scientific advancements.

2) Information

In the light of the agreement conducted between Assiut University and the Ministry of communication, ( I T ) societies were established inside the University faculties, and faculty of Nursing was no exception, so that it can keep track with the fast transformations in the field of ( I T ) 

The society includes the following :-

• 15 computers connected with Internet points

• Data show devices and screens

       * Activities of the society:-

• Quality Assurance and

• Self – training for youth and children

• Printing scientific papers

Quality assurance and Accreditation units :- (QAA)

The aim of establishing a QAA center is to support the academic performance evaluation Unit that was established at the University in 1997 and transforming it into a QAAC, supporting ito branches at the faculties and connecting the center to the units through an electronic network in order to accomplish and follow up the QA activities.

Education Development Unit:-

It aims at providing many training programmes and work shops to promote the academic level of staff members and their assistants
