From 1969-1973 worked as Demonstrator in Bot.Dept.Faculty of Science,Assiut.

From 1973-1981 worked as Assistant Lecturer in Bot.Dept.Faculty of science.

From 1976-1981 fellowship from DAAD,Germany to get Ph.D.

From 1981-1987 Lecturer in Bot.Dept.Faculty of Science,Assiut Univ.Egypt.

                   1987 Assistant Professor in Bot. Dept.Faculty of Science,Assiut.

From 1985-1990 Visitor in Qatar Univ.Faculty of Sci.Arabian Gulf.

                   1992 fellowship from DAAD for 3 Month.by Prof.Plapp who went away

Taxonomy of genus Bacillus,Pseudomonas, Thermoactionomyces and Frankia

on the base of phenotypic characterization methods.

N2-Fixation by Rhodospirillaceae from Aswan High Dam Lake.

Utilization of Aromatic compounds by Purple non-sulfur Bacteria.

we have studied the behavioural response of Rhodobacter capsulatus B10,37b4 to cadmium and Zinc.This includes Cd and Zinc binding protein, Profile of protein ,LPS by SDS-PAGE and the changes in the morphology by SEM.

Now: we are looking to open a new branch of microbiology after the short visit

of Prof. Steinbuchel-Muenster to our university.
