The faculty of
Specific Education has many activities
throughout the whole academic year, either in
collaboration with students from other faculties
of Assiut University or with other specific
education faculties as exchange of activities.
These activities include social, sports, general
services, camping, environmental control and
meetings in different aspects.
* For the Education Music Department, the
faculty helds every year music program including
Arabic and Western music as a coral of students
of the department and guided by the students
themselves. In addition, Singlet songs are also
performed. This festival and music evening is
honored by The President of the university,
Assiut Governor, deans and Staff of Assiut
University and their families and others from
Assiut.
* Every year the education art department
presents an exhibition of fine arts which
reflect the activities of the students gained
from their education background and their
experiments. These includes the following:
1) The design field: where the student present
several experience that reflect the importance
of design subject in crystallizing the student
understanding and art opinion with his beginning
step in the educational art department.
2) The drawing and painting: it contains wall
painting and oil paintings. Students perform new
vision in painting art which reflect the real
reaction between the faculty student and
contemporary creeds arts.
3) In the sculpture field and medal design:
students present an experience field as one of
means in decorating buildings and fields in
Assiut city where the sculpture field consider
one of the rarity particularized in the
educational art field.
4) In the woodworking: Students preserve design
techniques of wooden structures.They use all
decorative crave art, Arabian lathe and
stuffing. They use then different colors to
confirm the valuable beauty in these beautiful
formations.
5) In the typography and textile field: students
present several different ways such as, silk
screen and batik and also typography by the
wooden die block. The textile work prepared is
one of the special works ,because Assiut is one
of the cities that has a great history in making
textile beside the richness of the popularity
environment.
6) In the handmade art field: students present
several experience in how to function the
remaining consumed ore to make a new art vision,
that reflect the students understanding of the
art environmental surroundings.
So every year an art exhibition of these
sections is held which reflect the activities of
the various fields of arts and students works.
This exhibition lasts for the whole year as a
museum opened to visitors, which also leaves a
reflection of the environmental effects.
*The department of " Home Economics" is
characterized by its various activities along
the academic year. The results of these
activities include the representation of
children clothes which taught to the students of
the 2nd year, while indoor clothes furnishing,
designing, needle work and Crochet all are
taught in the 3rd year.
However the 4th and last year is considered very
important because students learn making
different pieces of art which appears in the
form of mechanical and hand made knitting, bed
sheets, table sheets as well as outdoor clothes.
On the other hand the nutrition and food science
activities appear as gateous, biscuits, cakes
and different kinds of appetizers.
We are honored every year by the visiting of the
head of the university, the governor, great
number of university professors and other
visitors to our exhibition. |
