A website is organized with information to and around the programme. With that also an interface for
communication will be set up. This will be helpfully in providing also information to individuals, who are
interested in the new study program. Furthermore it will be helpfully in providing information about the new
courses and facilities of the STRI. That can lead to new contacts to related industrial companies, which may be
interested in getting Bacholors from the institute.
At the end of the project a conference is planned, where the results of the project will be published. This
conference (in Egypt) will be open for everyone and also other TEMPUS-groups or groups from institutes
working on applied sciences will be invited to give oral presentations. Together with all other contributions
proceedings will be published, which also will be made available for everyone.
Since Dec. 2005 the STRI represents a World Bank Information Center for the North African and Arabian
region. This will be used also for the dissemination of the new B.Sc.-program as well as for the publication of
the first results of it. As the other tools, this will also be used for the announcement for life-long-learningseminars
to topics, which are related to the new study contents.
In international related journals (e.g. "International sugar journal", "Starch") the program will be announced,
and results be presented.
