 7.Presenting 3 papers in The First International Conference on Biotechnology in Fruit Species ( BioFruits ) held in Dresden, Germany during 1 – 5 September, 2008:

a) Micropropagation of Zizyphus spina-christi and its in vitro tolerance to salinity and drought stresses.

b) Introducing new genes into Thompson Seedless grapes.

c) In vitro propagation of some new introduced grape rootstocks and their tolerance to salinity and drought stresses.     

8.The approval of new proposal ( Egypt- USA Joint Projects) on germplasm conservation of some indigenous fruit species in Upper Egypt.
