Introduction

Hospital establishment decisions:

  • The University Construction Committee decided in session No. (42) Held on February 21, 1998 AD in the presence of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Raafat Mahmud, President of the University, to approve the establishment of the Neurological and Psychological Diseases and Brain and Neurosurgery Buildings.
  • The decision of the University Council in its session No. (464) held on February 22, 1998, approving the establishment of the Neurological and Psychological Diseases and Neurosurgery Building.
  • And the decision of the University Council in its session No. (632) held on 05/26/2013 to approve the allocation of a building for neurological and psychological diseases and neurosurgery.
  • The Neuropsychiatric and Neurosurgery Hospital has been operating since June 2013.
  • The Neurosurgery Department has been moved to the building and has started work since January 2014.

The Neurological, Psychiatric and Neurosurgery Hospital should be a distinguished and pioneering center in health, educational and research services for these specialties at the level of the level, and be one of the pioneers in providing health services at the regional and Arab levels, and a center for graduating distinguished medical and professional cadres to serve the community.
