Dr. El-Minshawy: Assiut University supports sports activity and encourages students to practice sports in a distinctive Ramadan atmosphere

Under the supervision of  Dr. Ahmed El – Minshawy, president of Assiut University, the sports activity Department of the General Administration of student welfare, in cooperation with the University Students ' Union, organizes the Ramadan sports session, which includes football pentathlon (students), volleyball quads (students), and table tennis (students), during the period from March 16 to 20, 2025, at the Olympic Village at the university, under the supervision of: Dr. Ahmed Abdul Mawla – vice president of the University for education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Madiha Darwish-supervisor general information on student activities at the University.

The Ramadan course is organized by: Dr. Haitham Ibrahim-Director General of the General Administration of Student Welfare, Mr. Ihab Ramadan - director of the sports activity Department, and student Martin Nasser-president of the University Students ' Union

Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy stressed that the Ramadan sports course aims to enhance the spirit of teamwork and cooperation among students, in addition to providing an opportunity to practice sports in a pleasant Ramadan atmosphere that contributes to enhance physical activity and general health.

The president of the University pointed out that the interest in sports activities comes within the priorities of the university, believing in the importance of enhancing the sports aspect of students, in line with its vision to promote students and encourage them to adopt a healthy lifestyle, which contributes to the formation of a generation with excellent physical and mental health.

The sports activity Department invited students wishing to participate or inquire about the details of the course to contact the sports activity Department of the General Directorate of student welfare.
