Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of Assiut University, participated today, Wednesday, March 12, in the annual collective Iftar ceremony organized by a family of students for Egypt under the slogan "good students in the month of good", at the Social Club in the Olympic Village at the University, with the participation of 250 students, as part of the family celebration of the holy month of Ramadan, and the University's keenness to strengthen communication with its students and support student activities.
The ceremony witnessed the participation of a number of university leaders, including: Dr. Ahmed Abdul Mawla, vice president of the University for education and Student Affairs, Dr. Mahmoud Abdulalim, vice president of the University for community service and Environmental Development, Dr. Jamal Badr, vice president of the University for graduate studies and research, Dr. Madiha Darwish, general supervisor of student activities and student family coordinator for Egypt, Dr. Ahmed Qoraa, supervisor of the Olympic Village, Mr. Shawkat saber, Secretary General of the University, Dr. Haitham Ibrahim, Director General of the General Administration of student welfare, professor Ezz Al-Mansouri, Secretary of the Faculty of Arts, Professor Mohammed Sayed, family liaison officer, student Martin Nasser, president of the Student Union and family rapporteur, and student Salah al-Nadim, vice president of the University Students ' Union.
Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy congratulated the university students on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, calling on God to return it to them and to Egypt and the Arab and Islamic nation with good, Yemen and blessings. He also congratulated them on the anniversary of the victories of the tenth of Ramadan, pointing out that this anniversary is a source of pride and pride for all Egyptians, and confirms the greatness of the Egyptian army and its ability to achieve achievements.
Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy praised the distinguished role played by the family of students for Egypt in organizing student activities, and its keenness to create a positive university environment that promotes the spirit of cooperation between students. He also expressed his appreciation for the good organization of the collective breakfast party, which reflected the spirit of friendliness and cohesion between the students, and showed their commitment to the spirit of one team, which led to the success of the event and its optimal outcome.
He also stressed that the family is an honorable example of teamwork, as it provided various targeted activities throughout the academic year that contributed to enriching student life at the University, and encouraged students to volunteer and positive interaction within the campus.
The president of the University explained that the political leadership pays great attention to student activities at universities, based on their role in developing the skills of young people and preparing them to be capable of creativity and innovation. He stressed that the university administration supports and provides all the necessary possibilities for students to practice various activities, which contributes to the graduation of qualified generations for the future.
The Iftar ceremony was punctuated by the presentation of religious chanting led by Maestro Talaat Al-Bakri, which added an atmosphere of spirituality and joy among students, and contributed to enhancing familiarity and communication within the university community.
