Dear Student: If your goals and inclinations are to join the Faculty of Physical Education, it is necessary to pass the abilities tests for this specialty, which are simple tests that measure your readiness to study physical education.
Measuring the student's athletic ability and achieving the required standards in physical tests and skill, while measuring general information in areas related to the sports field, which requires reading and reviewing a number of topics related to each field of knowledge and information development in the student, which contributes Significantly in passing the cognitive test, through a variety of tests which are classified as follows:
First, the cognitive test is a general information test and information in the field of physical education and is divided into the following:
1. Sports culture.
2. The importance of sport.
3. History of sports.
4. Sports laws.
5. Sports and other sciences.
The topics for each area are as follows:
Sports Culture:
- To identify the difference between the Olympic Committee and the Paralympic Committee.
- Appropriate behavior for coaches and players on the field.
- The names and nationalities of athletes who have won Arab, international and Olympic championships in various sports, both old and new.
- Identify the fitness elements needed for players according to the exercised sports activity.
- Learn about different types of sports and their tools.
The concept of a school of physical education.
2. The importance of sports:
- Learn about the behavior and features that players acquire when exercising.
Benefits gained from exercise.
- The effect of sports on obesity and fitness.
3. History of sports:
- To learn about the origins of sports in ancient Egyptians.
- Countries of origin for different sports.
The history of the establishment of local and international sports federations, institutions and international organizations.
- Getting to know the Olympic games, old and new.
- The most winning countries in various Olympic and international sports.
4. Sports laws:
Learn about the laws associated with all sports. In terms of:
- Number of basic and reserve players.
Number of referees.
- Time of runs in different sports.
- Stadium sizes.
- Weights of sports equipment.
- Playgrounds and surfaces on which different sports are practiced.
The number of devices used in some sports.
5.Sports and other sciences:
- Identify the association of sports with other sciences such as physiology, anatomy, health and sports psychology.
- Sports injuries and modern technology.

- The major behavior of the coaches and their relation to the results from the point of view of the players of the Premier League basketball in Iraq

- The use of technology in sports education
- Preparing a physical education teacher technology
- The use of state-of-the-art techniques in the technology of active rest on the level of achievement and some of the bio-variables in the 200m junior freestyle
Second: Physical and skill tests:
1. For boys:
6 x 7 tests per test = 42 degrees
The test is 10 degrees, and the other two are the ones that are the most in the world
2. II: For girls:
Number of tests 7 x 6 scores per test = 42 degrees
The test is 10 degrees, and the other two are the ones that are the most in the world
