Upper Egyptian First Successful Case Treatment of a Patient Suffering from Acute Chronic Clot by the Use of Interventional Catheter and Coagulant Solvents

2017-08-30Dr. Tarek Al-Gammal, Assiut University Vice-President for Graduate Studies and Research and Chairman of University Hospitals Board of Directors, announced the success of the treatment of a case; first of its kind in Upper Egypt. The patient was a female aging 33 years and had an acute chronic clot. The medical team managed to implement an international catheter without surgery. The clot dissolved within 48 hours. This asserts the distinctive service provided by the University Hospitals.
