  Aims

1.    Employment of the faculty facilities (buildings, Personal and experience) in poultry production to achieve better production.

2.    Supplying the university community and the local society community with chickens, eggs and meat at moderate price and better quality.

3.     Participating in the agricultural development plan of Assiut Governorate.

Achievements:

1.                            Production of broilers in subsequent and continuous set (5000 birds every 40-45 days) for the university society.

2.                            Production of selected and improved chickens from our domestic strains such as Dandarawi and Naked Neck (Sharkasi).

3.                            Production of Muscovi ducks and Bronze Turkeys.
