Dr.Mohamed Nabil Makled
obtained his Ph.D. degree in animal
nutrition from Kiev Academy for Agricultural Sciences in 1970. He worked as Head of Department for six years and as Vice Dean for two years and currently he works as Emeritus Professor of Poultry Nutrition,Dept of Animal and Poultry Production, Faculty of Agriculture, Assiut University ,Egypt.
He was born in 1941 in Bani-Suef, Egypt. He was raised and got |
| his education in Cairo and graduated from The Faculty of
Agriculture, Cairo University in 1961. Then, he worked for three
years as a demonstrator at Animal Production Dept., Faculty of Agriulture Cairo University. In 1965, he was nominated for a scientific
mission to the Soviet Union. Upon completion of his Ph.D. degree
from Russia in 1970, he returned to Egypt and worked for Assiut
University in Upper Egypt till present.
He has written more than sixty scientific articles. He teaches
graduate and undergraduate courses in animal production, poultry
production, animal nutrition, poultry nutrition, and principles of poultry production. He is a co-editor of the Egyptian Journal of Poultry
Science and the Egyptian Journal of Nutrition and Feeds. He is a member of the American Poultry Science Association, World's Poultry
Science Association, The Egyptian Society of Poultry Science, The Egyptian Society of Nutrition and Feeds, and Egyptian Society of Animal Production.
