In addition to a well equipped surgical theater area,
the Reconstructive Microsurgery Unit is attached to a
22 bed ICU unit, a doctor's lounge, secretarial
and outpatient office and asmall library.
A separate Surgical Skills Laboratory is located
besides the animal house in the Faculty of Medicine
basement opposite the hospital. The laboratory
contains five bench surgical microscopes with closed
