Workshops Organization:
Departments like Botany, Zoology, and Entomology within the Faculty of Science, along with the Faculty of Agriculture, regularly organize workshops, field studies, and training sessions to educate communities about biodiversity, sustainable land use, and ecosystem protection.
Second International Conference on Biological Sciences (February 2025):
With participation from 140 researchers from Egypt and abroad, the university organized a conference titled “Innovative Solutions in Biology for a Sustainable Future”, focusing on biodiversity loss, sustainable agriculture, and ecosystem protection.
Plant Tissue Culture and Genetic Diversity Workshop (April 2025):
Assiut University is organizing a specialized workshop titled “Plant Tissue Culture and Genetic Differences: Development, Applications, and Detection Methods”. This workshop, led by the Molecular Biology Research and Studies Institute, focuses on supporting biodiversity and achieving agricultural sustainability through advanced plant tissue culture techniques.
