How we distribute students

In the preparatory class, the student writes the registration form to enter one of the scientific departments in the faculty, organized in descending order, without repeating any of them. The Student Affairs Administration applies the percentages of passing grades in the preparatory year to the percentages of achievement in high school, on the basis of which students are devidid among different departments. Students are divided into different departments of the faculty as follows:
33% of the Civil Engineering Department.
33% of the Department of Electrical Engineering.
20% of the Department of Mechanical Engineering.
7% of the Department of Architecture.
13% of the Department of Mining and Metallurgy Engineering.
The applicant has the right to transfer from one department to another within the first week of his or her university studies, provided that the amount is not less than the minimum in the department to which he or she wishes to transfer.
The faculty does not accept any exceptions or sufficient explanations for the transfer between scientific departments, except for the exceptions mentioned in the fourth article.

Transferring Students
First: moving from the faculty to other faculties
Nomination shift (new students):
Following the outcome of the results of the general coordination of the secondary education for admission to faculties and institutes, the central coordination office in Cairo sends lists of names of students selected for admission to the university.
By the decision of Prof. Minister of Higher Education, students are granted a period during which their candidacy between faculties is changed via the Internet in order to minimize alienation.
There are special cases in which the appointment is amended between the respective and asymmetrical faculties by the submission of paper applications; for example: (transfer of the guardian from the governorate of the student to receive a high school diploma to another governorate, such as army officer, lawyers, judges, policemen and other permanent staff) and the guardian of the student in this case by submitting proof of transfer to the governorate to which he wishes to move his son/daughter.
Lists of names of students appointed for the 2008/2009 academic year have been issued from the Cairo Central Coordination Office, number (1255) of students distributed (first phase, number (1017) male and female students, and second phase (238) male and female students, and the assignment of (107) male and female students has been updated. Approximately (8.5 percent) from the two points.

Move (Senior Team):
Central offices will be founded in each university to accept applications for transfer, as determined by the Supreme Council of Universities.
The Central Transfer Office (General Student Affairs) is responsible for the transition of students from our faculty to another similar or dissimilar faculties.
The central transfer office receives the applications and submits them to the President of the University for approval.
Based upon the approval of the University President for transfer requests submitted by students wishing to transfer, the Main Transfer Office (General Student Affairs) provides a list of names of students wishing to transfer. The Central Transfer Office (General Student Affairs) sends to the Department of Education and Students lists of the names of the students wishing to transfer and adds to them their applications and a copy of the approval of the President of the University.
The Department of Education and Student Affairs of the faculty shall make a declaration of the status of students wishing to move to and from the Faculty and University, to each student separately.
The faculty the student wishes to transfer to shall send an indication of their approval.

The Department of Education and Student Affairs of our faculty shall notify the students to come to it in order to inform him or her of the acceptance of the faculty wishing to transfer to it. To make the required clearances so that the administration may submit the student's documents to the faculty to which he or she wishes to transfer.
The student paper file is submitted to the faculty to which the student wants to move.
The name of the student transferred is deleted from the list of the faculty and the association with the faculty ends.

Grievance Criteria

It's a program for undergraduate and graduate students to apply their complaints to review their response answers.
