The museum houses over 3,000 zoological specimens, including marine organisms, corals, invertebrates, mammals, fish, reptiles, and taxidermied birds. It also features an electronic library containing more than 250 scientific films and 34 educational panels, making it a distinguished scientific, educational, research, and historical resource for students at all educational levels, as well as for researchers and enthusiasts of natural sciences.
This step aims to promote scientific tourism in Assiut, enhance public awareness of Egypt’s scientific and cultural heritage, and facilitate educational and research visits to the museum, highlighting the university’s role as a hub of knowledge and cultural engagement.
