Professor Ahmed El-Minshawy, President of Assiut University, announced that the protocol aims to support government policies through scientifically grounded and valuable research projects. It seeks to achieve shared scientific, training, and research goals between both institutions, promote academic exchange among faculty members and researchers, and facilitate access to references, catalogues, and specialized expertise available to both parties.

Professor El-Minshawy emphasized the university administration’s commitment to building educational, research, and service partnerships with various national and international institutions and research centers. Such collaborations, he noted, strengthen the university’s academic and scientific mission and expand the scope of joint development efforts. He also praised this partnership for opening future prospects for students to engage in diverse academic and research collaborations.

The protocol includes the exchange of academic output, such as master’s theses, doctoral dissertations, studies, and research papers, as well as mutual scientific visits, cooperation on joint research projects addressing regional issues, and the exchange and publication of scholarly works. It also provides for joint academic supervision of postgraduate research and the participation of experts from the National Center for Social and Criminological Research in teaching activities.
