Assiut University Hosts a Community Dialogue on the Baccalaureate "The New System for High School"

 A community dialogue session on "The New Baccalaureate High School System and the Vision of Assiut University" for high school students, parents, Assiut University professors, school principals, teachers, and civil society institutions, with the aim of: enabling students and parents to understand the mechanisms of the new system for high school and baccalaureate, developing students' critical thinking and innovation skills, and linking education to international standards and labor market requirements, while promoting consultation among experts to ensure the success of the application.

 

Assiut University, under the auspices of Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, organized the workshop in cooperation with the Directorate of Education in Assiut, under the supervision of Dr. Mahmoud Abdel Aleem. The workshop included two scientific sessions with several lectures, including:  a lecture on the objectives of the baccalaureate and its role in the development of education, a lecture on challenges and success mechanisms, a lecture on the development of the high school system, and a comparison between the International Baccalaureate and Egyptian, in addition to presenting the teachers' vision for the new system. The workshop also included an open dialogue between university professors, teachers, schools, parents, and civil society organizations to exchange views and experiences
