Faculty of Fine Arts at Assiut University introduces its inaugural entrepreneurship training program to develop students’ entrepreneurial skills and transform their innovative ideas into feasible projects.
Under the patronage of Professor Ahmed El-Minshawy, President of Assiut University, the Faculty of Fine Arts launched the first edition of its specialized training program in entrepreneurship and innovative projects on March 10. The program will run until March 12 under the supervision of Professor Ahmed Abdel-Mawla, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs.
Professor El-Minshawy emphasized that the program supports a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship among university students, in alignment with Egypt’s Vision 2030. He noted that the initiative aims to equip students with the skills needed to compete in the labor market and contribute to sustainable development.
The program is overseen by Professor Mahmoud Abdel Aleem, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Professor Mohamed Helmy El-Hefnawy, Dean of the Faculty. It is delivered with the participation of several faculty vice deans and academic staff members.
The training includes sessions on establishing start-ups, business model development, design thinking, and intellectual property protection, with contributions from a select group of experts and specialists in innovation and entrepreneurship.
