The Institute of Drug Development and Innovation Research is established in Assiut university and located in Assiut to be the focal point where creativity and scientific specialization are targeted. The Institute is designed to attract creative scientific candidates where they are capable to represent it's purpose in development the University orientation role towards creative, scientific fields and technological development in various drug fields which have strategical importance in development and economic great output.

The work philosophy of the institute is based on providing and facilitating the necessary ways for scientific openness and exchange of experiences with institutes, scientific centers and bodies nationally and internationally.
