Assiut University Ranks First in the Field of Group Singing (Choral)

Dr. Ahmed El Minshawy, Acting President of Assiut University, emphasizes the role of the Institute for Leadership Development in rooting the idea of preserving the Egyptian cultural identity through art to create a positive and competitive spirit among students and present their talents, which helps in refining the students’ personality and developing the spirit of cooperation among them. In the course of this, Dr. Ahmed El Minshawi congratulates his sons, students of Assiut University, participating in the second singing festival of Egyptian university and higher institute students held at the Institute of Leaders Preparation in Helwan, for ranking first in the field of group singing (choral) at the level of 17 Egyptian universities.
For his part, Dr. Wagdy Refaat, Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education, expresses his pride in the excellence and superiority of Assiut University students and their keenness to win and rank first in the field of group singing at the level of 17 Egyptian universities participating in the second singing festival for students of Egyptian universities and higher institutes at the Institute for Leadership Development in Helwan, praising the political leadership which pays great attention to the arts that help students in unleashing their creative abilities.
In this regard, Dr. Montaser Al-Qolali, Head of the Music Education Department at the Faculty of Specific Education, stated that the winning students in the field of solo singing are the student Mustafa Mohamed Khalaf, Mirna Makram Thabet, Madonna Sameh Daoud, adding that the winning students in the field of solo singing are the student Ahmed Mohamed Abdel Aal, in playing the violin, and student Stephen Ayman Boktor in playing Oud.
