Assiut University launches "Workshops on the Role of Social Protection in Achieving Sustainable Development Goals"

The General Administration for Talent Management and Development, in collaboration with the University's Center for Sustainable Development, is launching seminars on the role of social protection in achieving sustainable development. Dr. Adel Abdo Hussein, Director of the Center for Sustainable Development, Prof. Shawkat Saber Thabet, Secretary General of the University, Prof. Mustafa Hassan Ali, Assistant Secretary of the University, Prof. Mahmoud Younis Ahmed, Head of the Central Administration for Human Resources, and Prof. Khaled Omran Ahmed, Director General of the General Administration for Talent Management and Development were present.
Dr. Adel Abdo, on his part, stated that the Egyptian experience attempts to create social protection for the medium and lower income groups. This is a significant problem for the Egyptian administration, which is attempting to execute an economic reform programme in line with Egypt's Vision 2030 and His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-sustainable Sisi's development plan.
The workshop, according to Mr. Mahmoud Younis, covers a wide range of topics, including women's rights, public morals and their relationship to individual behaviour, the importance of morals to the individual and society, moral chaos in society, how to prevent it, the psychological and moral effects of abnormal moral chaos on society, and the penalties for an outrageous act of modesty.
