Assiut University launches a forum to develop the capabilities and skills of employees in the field of supervision and residence in university cities

  Under the supervision of prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of Assiut University, the General Department of Talent Management and Development at the university organized a development forum under the title: "Developing the Capabilities and Skills of Employees in the Field of Supervision and Residence in University Cities", in the discussion Hall, in the administrative building of the University, in the presence of Dr. Ahmed Abdul-Mawla, vice president of the University for education and student affairs, professor Shawkat saber, Secretary General of the University, and Professor Osama al-Sayed, Assistant Secretary General of the University, with the participation of about (50) trainees, supervision staff, and residence in university cities. 

  Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy explained that Assiut University is keen to develop administrative work, raise the potential and capabilities of its employees within its various sectors; to provide distinguished educational services, pointing out the importance of the university cities sector, as one of the important sectors to which the university pays great attention, and is working to develop it continuously; to be a convenient place to stay, live, and practice activities, in addition to its keenness to develop the capabilities of its employees, familiarizing them with the laws, regulations, the role of residence supervisors, their relationship with students, and ways to face problems.
 
Dr. Ahmed Abdel Mawla pointed out that the forum aims to develop the skills of employees, foremost of which is supervision and accommodation, due to the direct interaction with students, adding that the goal is to enrich the skills and abilities that abound in the administrative apparatus of the University, and to benefit from them in the development of work in an optimal way, stressing that the student is the main element in the educational process and that continuing to train employees continuously in various administrative fields, aims to meet the needs of students and provide integrated services to them at the highest level of efficiency and excellence. 

   The forum comes under the supervision of Dr. Buthaina Al-Fatih, assistant secretary general of the University, Mr. Abdulkader Mehran, head of the Central Department of Human Resources, Mr. Mahmoud Antar, director general of university cities, and Mr. Khaled Omran, Director General of talent management and development.

  The forum includes several important topics on: the skills and art of effective communication between supervision and residence staff, with students residing in university cities, tools and means of effective communication with others, the psychology and ways of dealing with supervision and residence staff with students residing in university cities, how to be an influential person in others as a human behavior, the youth stage and ways to deal with it, discussions about the rules and system of residence in university cities, diagnosing problems and decision-making in the field of dealing with students.

 It is worth mentioning that the forum extends its activities for 3 days, during the period17 to 19 from November, during which Dr. Salah Abdul Hakim Ahmed, professor at the Department of social service fields at the College of Social Work, Dr. Essam Mohammed Talaat, professor of Social Planning at the faculty of Social Work, Dr. Iman Salah al-Din at the Department of psychology at the College of Education, Mr. Mahmoud Antar, Director General of university cities, and Mr. Khaled Mansour, director of residence at university cities.
