Believing in the trends of the Egyptian state towards the development of human beings in all fields, Assiut National University launched a series of awareness campaigns on the dangers of the fourth and fifth-generation wars within the activities of the Presidential Initiative (a new beginning; to build the human being), as a contribution to enhance awareness among its students, and keen to participate in this important strategic step towards achieving the state plan for sustainable development in comprehensive concept.
Awareness campaigns launched at Assiut Al-Ahlia University, under the supervision of Prof. Mohammed Ayman Ashour, Minister of higher education and scientific research, Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of Assiut University, supervised by Dr. Noubi Mohammed Hassan, vice president of Assiut Al-Ahlia University for Academic Affairs, and Dr. Abdul Rahman Haider, advisor to the president of Assiut University for artificial intelligence, organized and prepared by Dr. Rahab El-dakhli, head of the media department, and media advisor to the president of Assiut University.
Prof. El-Minshawy explained that the awareness campaigns aim to confront the wars of the fourth and fifth generations, and rumors, in addition to demolishing achievements, turning them into weaknesses, as well as spreading chaos and spreading corruption, at a lower cost than traditional wars, as well as not to get involved in front of the international community, pointing to its role in facing new types of risks that threaten the homeland greatly, and represent aggression on the rights of individuals about their economic and social privacy.
The president of Assiut University pointed to the role of campaigns in increasing the awareness of young people and their awareness of the risks surrounding them, as well as confronting information wars, as one of the most prominent tools of fourth-generation wars, which represent an imminent threat to national security in its sense
This is in addition to raising awareness of the risks of excessive increases in spending many hours on various internet platforms and social media.
For his part, Dr. Noubi Mohammed Hassan, during the opening of awareness campaigns, noted the multiple effects of advanced technologies, and in its forefront, artificial intelligence, with its various technologies, and the extent to which it simulates the mental abilities of the human mind, and its ability to come up with super-intelligent and unusual alternatives, calling on students to make their abilities, develop them, and invest these technological novelties in arming with science and knowledge to be able to meet the new variables required by the labor market locally and globally.
Dr. Noubi Mohamed Hassan stressed that Assiut National University is keen to play its assigned role at all educational, research, and service levels, and to contribute effectively to various initiatives aimed at developing human capital by building awareness, working to consolidate the Egyptian identity, and preparing new generations to take root with the values of belonging, loyalty to the Egyptian state, and armed with science and new knowledge required by changes in the labor market.
For her part, Dr. Rahab Al-dakhili explained: the series of awareness campaigns is organized by Youth Welfare at Assiut Al-Ahlia University, during which a group of faculty members participates, to raise awareness of the risks of fourth and fifth-generation wars, and includes (5) campaigns, namely: the first - "no to cybercrimes", and the second - "together .. Against distortion", the third - "one row", the fourth - "keep your identity", concluding the fifth-
"Take care of Egypt".
A series of awareness campaigns, the first of its awareness campaigns, entitled: "No to cybercrimes", during which Dr. Abdulrahman Haider, advisor to the president of Assiut University for artificial intelligence, gave a lecture on: "Cybercrime, and how to face the information war", in the presence of Dr. Ezzat Abdel Moneim Marghani, supervisor of the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Assiut Al-aliya University, Dr. Rehab Al-dakhili, media advisor to the president of Assiut University, and Mr. Maysra Ahmed, Youth Welfare Department, with the participation of more than (60) students, from various faculties of the University.
During his lecture, Dr. Abdul Rahman Haider reviewed several important topics, which dealt with: how to deal with technological and digital tools peacefully, the concept of electronic crimes, and their various types, as well as the economic and social effects of electronic crimes, the role of the private sector in data protection, and information, explaining how to combat information purification crimes, emphasizing the importance of cybersecurity in personal protection in the digital environment, pointing - at the end of his lecture - to the importance of concerted efforts between governments, the private sector, and society; to maintain cybersecurity, protect sensitive data, and with the need to focus on innovation, marketing.
