  • The Unit of metabolism and genetic diseases

It’s a unit in the college building. It was established by Prof. Tahaya Hashem Selim and others, under the supervision of the Presidency of Assiut University.

The main aim of the unit is to meet the needs of the community in estimating the magnitude of the chemical and biological imbalance issues. In addition to issues related to the health of the community in all ages and children, especially genetic diseases, following a health authority map that includes the Upper Egypt community from the borders of Minya to the far south.
