Our university offers and encourages sustainably farmed food on campus by: 

Sustainable Sources:

  1. The Faculty of Agriculture's farms, which include the animal production, vegetable, and fruit farms, provide the university with a significant portion of its food supply. A portion of the farm produce is delivered to campus dining services, while the remainder is sold through the Faculty of Agriculture's outlets.

Reduction of Food Waste:

The university applies composting programs for food wastes, converting organic waste into compost that can be used in campus gardens or local agriculture.

Education and Awareness:

Sustainability Education: The university incorporates sustainability education into its courses and campus life, teaching students about the importance of sustainable food systems and responsible consumption.
