Introduction

The Molecular Biology Research Unit (MBRU), Assiut University has been established in 1996. This unit used to serve as one of the special units of Assiut University and is directed by a group of eminent professors and staff members from different faculties. Nowadays, MBRU is one of the premier research facility units of Molecular Biology Research & Studies Institute (MBRSI) that is established  in 2019 as a unique Research and postgraduate studies institution in Assiut University. The unit is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and instrumentation that provide cutting-edge research services in the field of molecular biology and bioinformatics to all relevant members of the scientific research community inside and outside Assiut University.
