framework of Assiut University's interest in serving the community, developing the environment, and enhancing community participation, the Faculty of Nursing organized a visit to Dar Al-Hanan Orphanage (Boys) in Al-Fath Center, on Friday, May 22, 2026. The visit was attended by Prof. Dr. Fatma Rushdi Mohamed, Dean of the Faculty, coordinated by Prof. Dr. Nahed Shawkat Abu El-Majd, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and with the participation of the members of the Community Service and Environmental Development Committee, namely: Prof. Dr. Mervat Anwar Abdel Aziz, Head of the Critical Care and Emergency Nursing Department, and Dr. Naglaa Ahmed Ahmed El-Rashidy, Assistant Professor of Critical Care and Emergency Nursing, along with several students from the Faculty's Environmental Committee. The visit included a tour inside the orphanage with the director, to check on the conditions and affairs of the children, understand their needs, and review the available facilities within the orphanage and the required needs.
