1.Preparing the veterinarians to reach a high level through which they could interact with diverse field problems.

2.Teaching third and fourth year students a course of pathology and clinical pathology

3.Training future veterinarians on reaching an accurate pathological diagnosis to identify a disease.

4.Training students on accurately performing a post-mortem examination during meat checks at the abattoir.
