Our university offers and encourages sustainably farmed food on campus by:
Sustainable Sources:
The Faculty of Agriculture's farms, which include the animal production, vegetable, and fruit farms, provide the university with a significant portion of its food supply. A portion of the farm produce is delivered to campus dining services, while the remainder is sold through the Faculty of Agriculture's outlets.
- Animal production farm: it is about 12 acre and providing campus with fresh milk and fresh meat
- Vegetable farm: it is about 13 acre and providing with varieties of fresh vegetables.
- Fruits farm: it is about 23 acre and providing with varieties of fresh vegetables.
Reduction of Food Waste:
The university applies composting programs for food wastes, converting organic waste into compost that can be used in campus gardens or local agriculture.
Education and Awareness:
- Sustainability Education: The university incorporates sustainability education into its courses and campus life, teaching students about the importance of sustainable food systems and responsible consumption.

Cassava Cultivation Project:
