Assiut University participated in the collective iftar hosted by the Assiut Pharmacists’ Syndicate, with the aim of fostering cooperation and integration between the University and the Syndicate. The event also aimed to support efforts to enhance the quality of healthcare services in line with Egypt’s Vision 2030. Attendees included members of the Pharmacists’ Syndicate, academic and executive leaders, pharmacists’ families, and professionals from the healthcare sector.
Under the patronage of Professor Ahmed El-Minshawy, President of Assiut University, the event was attended by Professor Ahmed Abdel-Mawla, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Professor Mahmoud Abdel-Aleem, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development. The gathering also saw the presence of Major General Dr. Hesham Abu El-Nasr, Governor of Assiut, and Professor Alaa Hayallah, President of the Pharmacists’ Syndicate.
Professor El-Minshawy praised the Syndicate’s vital role in supporting the healthcare system and emphasized the importance of keeping pace with scientific advancements to better serve the public. The University’s Vice Presidents also highlighted the University's commitment to community engagement and to strengthening collaboration with various institutions.
The event concluded with a word of gratitude from Professor Alaa Hayallah, who expressed his appreciation to all attendees. He affirmed that the annual collective iftar reinforces the values of unity and communication among pharmacists and their families, while strengthening partnerships within the healthcare community.
