Professor Ahmed El-Minshawy, President of Assiut University, extends his heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and to the Egyptian people on the anniversary of the restoration of Taba and the raising of the Egyptian flag over its soil on March 19. He described this historic achievement as one of the greatest diplomatic victories in modern Egyptian history.

Professor El-Minshawy affirmed that the restoration of Taba stands as a testament to the strength of Egyptian diplomacy and the steadfastness of the Egyptian negotiator in defending the nation’s sovereignty and reclaiming every inch of its land through justice and the rule of law.

He also praised the wisdom of the current political leadership, under President El-Sisi, which continues to safeguard Egypt’s rights and reinforce its regional and international standing, inspired by the spirit of determination embodied in the Taba experience.

The President of the University further called for instilling a sense of national pride and belonging among young people, drawing lessons from Taba’s victory in dedication and service. He stressed that this anniversary will always remain a symbol of Egypt's honor, sovereignty, and esteemed position among nations.
