Professor Ahmed El-Minshawy, President of Assiut University, extended his heartfelt congratulations and appreciation to Egyptian women on the occasion of International Women’s Day, observed annually on March 8. He praised their pivotal and enduring role in serving society and contributing to the development of the nation.

Professor El-Minshawy affirmed that Egyptian women continue to serve as a cornerstone in building the fabric of society, highlighting their distinguished presence across various fields, including work, education, and politics, where they have consistently demonstrated competence and excellence. He also emphasized their invaluable sacrifices and achievements, which have greatly supported the country's progress and prosperity.

He further noted that the celebration of International Women’s Day is an opportunity to honor the remarkable contributions of women in all spheres of life, whether within the family or through their active participation in public and professional domains.
