أستقبل الدكتور أحمد المنشاوى القائم بعمل رئيس جامعة أسيوط واللواء أركان حرب محب حبشى خليل قائد المنطقة الجنوبية العسكرية اللواء أركان حرب فاروق علم الدين العجرمى أحد أبطال حرب أكتوبر المجيدة وذلك استعداداً لاحتفال الجامعة بذكرى انتصارات أكتوبر المجيد والذى يأتى تزامناً مع الاحتفال بذكرى المولد النبوى الشريف ، وذلك غداً الاثنين 10 أكتوبر الجارى والمقام بقاعة النيل للتنوير الثقافى وشارك فى الاستقبال الدكتور أحمد عبد المولى القائم بعمل نائب رئيس الجامعة لشئون التعليم والطلاب ، والدكتور أحمد شريت مدير عام الادارة العامة لرعاية الشباب .

ومن جانبه أكد الدكتور أحمد المنشاوى رئيس الجامعة على أهمية ما تقوم به القوات المسلحة فى الحفاظ على الدولة المصرية والتصدى لكافة محاولات النيل من أمنها واستقرارها فى وقت السلام ووقت الحرب ، مشيراً إلى ضرورة تعريف الأجيال الصاعدة بما قامت به القوات المسلحة من دوراً عظيم فى الحفاظ على الدولة المصرية وذلك بهدف تعزيز قيم الانتماء والولاء لديهم
