نظمت وحدة الجودة بمستشفى الراجحي بجامعة أسيوط احتفالية خاصة بمناسبة اليوم العالمي لسلامة المريض، تحت رعاية الأستاذ الدكتور أحمد المنشاوي رئيس الجامعة، والأستاذ الدكتور علاء عطية عميد كلية الطب ورئيس مجلس إدارة المستشفيات الجامعية، وتحت الأستاذ الدكتور شريف كامل مدير المستشفى، والأستاذ الدكتور طارق المليجي مدير الوحدة المركزية لجودة الرعاية الصحية، والأستاذ الدكتور بشير أبوالسعود نائب مدير المستشفى لشئون الجودة.
وخلال الحفل أشار الأستاذ الدكتور شريف كامل إلى أن هذه الاحتفالية تأتي في إطار الحرص على تعزيز ثقافة سلامة المرضى وجودة الرعاية الصحية، فالتشخيص الصحيح يساهم في زيادة معدلات الشفاء، وأضاف أن مستشفى الراجحي تحرص على تطبيق معايير الجودة لتحسين الخدمات الطبية والعلاجية المُقدمة لجميع المرضى.
وعلى هامش الاحتفالية قام الدكتور فرج عبدالحميد مدير الجودة بالمستشفى بإلقاء محاضرة تعريفية للعاملين بالمستشفى عن أهداف سلامة المرضى وأهمية التشخيص الصحيح في العملية العلاجية والعوامل المختلفة التي تساعد في عملية التشخيص.
وشهدت الاحتفالية جلسة نقاشية مع عدد من المرضى بالمستشفى، للوقوف على مدى رضائهم عن الخدمة الطبية المقدمة، كما تم طرح عدد من الأسئلة على مقدمي الخدمة الطبية حول كيفية تطبيق معايير سلامة المريض مع توزيع جوائز على أصحاب الإجابات الصحيحة.
جدير بالذكر، أن اليوم العالمي لسلامة المرضى جاء حول أهمية التشخيص الصحيح حيث حمل شعار "أحسنوا التشخيص .. حافظوا على السلامة".
Al-Rajhi Hospital at Assiut University organizes the celebration of the World Patient Safety Day
The Quality Unit at Al-Rajhi Hospital at Assiut University organized a special celebration on the occasion of the World Patient Safety Day, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Alaa Attia, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of University Hospitals, and under Prof. Dr. Sherif Kamel, Director of the Hospital, Prof. Dr. Tarek El-Meligy, Director of the Central Unit for Health Care Quality, and Prof. Dr. Bashir Abu Al-Saud, Deputy Director of the Hospital for Quality Affairs.
During the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Sherif Kamel pointed out that this celebration comes within the framework of keenness to promote a culture of patient safety and quality of health care, as the correct diagnosis contributes to increasing recovery rates, adding that Al Rajhi Hospital is keen to apply quality standards to improve medical and therapeutic services provided to all patients.
On the sidelines of the celebration, Dr. Faraj Abdel Hamid, Director of Quality at the hospital, gave an introductory lecture to the hospital staff on the objectives of patient safety, the importance of correct diagnosis in the treatment process, and the various factors that help in the diagnostic process.
The celebration witnessed a discussion session with a number of patients at the hospital, to determine their satisfaction with the medical service provided, and a number of questions were asked to medical service providers on how to apply patient safety standards with prizes for those with the correct answers.
It is worth mentioning that the World Patient Safety Day came about the importance of correct diagnosis, as it carried the slogan "Make a good diagnosis... Stay safe."
