The Office of International Relations and Arab Universities Affairs announces the Indian Council for Agricultural Research (ICAR) invites Egyptian researchers to apply for the Netaji Subhas – ICAR International Fellowships (NS-ICAR-IFs).
The Indian NS-ICAR-IFs are available for PhD studies in agriculture and related sciences at Indian agricultural universities (AUs) under the ICAR-AU system. The duration of the fellowship is three years.
Eligibility:
- A Master's degree in agriculture or related sciences with a GPA of 6.60 or 65% marks or its equivalent is required for admission to the NS-ICARIFs program.
- New candidates must not be more than 35 years old by the application deadline, and the maximum age for in-service candidates is 40 years by the application deadline.
- New candidates must have completed their qualifying degree at least two years prior to the date specified in the year of admission.
How to Apply:
- The candidate must submit an application for the fellowship online via email to: adg.hrd.applications@gmail.com.
- The applicant must provide two references, along with their email addresses, to support their application. The Council may contact them directly for feedback in the prescribed format. One of the references should preferably be their current supervisor (if employed), an expert in the field, and well-versed in the candidate's work.
- Applicants for the ICAR-IF program must have been admitted, at their respective level, to doctoral programs with a specific field of study at selected Indian universities. For overseas applicants, these acceptance letters should be attached to the fellowship application.
