A student delegation from Assiut University participates in the training program of the National Academy for Combating Corruption in Cairo
Dr. Al-Minshawy; Praises the training programs organized by the Academy, stressing the importance of raising students' awareness of the concepts related to governance and combating corruption
The Faculty of Law, Assiut University, under the auspices of Dr. Ahmed Al-Minshawy, President of Assiut University, participated with (29) male and female students as part of the university delegation consisting of (56) male and female students in the activities of the training program on: "Combating Corruption and Governance"; which was organized by the Administrative Control Authority, at the National Academy for Combating Corruption in Cairo.
Dr. Ahmed Al-Minshawy praised the training programs organized by the Academy, and the participation of students at the university; with the aim of spreading awareness of the concepts related to governance, combating corruption, and spreading the values of integrity and transparency in society; To achieve development, implement the national strategy aimed at combating corruption (2023-2030), and confront all its forms and manifestations, stressing the university’s keenness to educate young people and familiarize them with work ethics at all levels of society.
The participation of the Assiut University delegation came under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Abdel Mawla, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Douib Saber, Dean of the Faculty of Law and Legal Advisor, Dr. Ragab Al-Kahlawi, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Law for Student Affairs to the President of the University, Dr. Madiha Darwish, General Supervisor of Student Activities at the University, Dr. Ashraf Gaballah, Director of Youth Care at the Faculty, Mr. Mustafa Rashwan, Supervisor of Youth Care at the Faculty of Law, and Ms. Ghada Hamdy, Supervisor of Female Students at the Faculty of Law.
The three-day training program included many scientific lectures on: defining corruption, its causes, and its effects; corruption, national security; the information infrastructure of the Egyptian state, and governance in the face of corruption. It reviewed Egypt's 2030 strategy and vision, communication skills, work ethics, how to prepare a CV, give presentations, and how to achieve entrepreneurship.
