Alumni Association:

Association Goals

The association aims at preparing Nursing Alumni to be qualified enough to improve the health and welfare of the society through: 

  • Holding scientific conferences, seminars, and training programs in the field of primary health care.
  • Planning for future training programs in various fields of scientific, cultural, environmental, and social nursing
  • Developing continuous cooperation with the various medical institutions at the level of the Republic, which helps to advance the profession and find out what is new in the field of nursing care
  • Updating the information and skills of graduates in all areas of nursing through direct contact between faculty graduates and members of the training centers of Nursing Faculties to achieve quality in nursing
  • Providing graduates of nursing faculties with everything new on the scientific, cultural, and social aspects.
  • Holding seminars and conferences, which is one of the most important goals to link health services in the labor market with academic fields
  • Contributing to providing appropriate health care for faculty graduates and their families, as well as social and recreational care, such as offering Hajj and Umrah trips and internal trips..
  • The association activities:
  • Holding cultural and literary seminars (active)
  • Offering courses for studying different languages and computer skills (active)
  • Issuing a cultural social magazine (in progress)
  • Organizing cultural and literary competitions
  • Spreading health awareness and environmental culture to reduce health and environmental problems
  • Participating in social and environmental development through participation with the concerned authorities and bodies.

Goals of societal activities:  taking care of the members and their families in all social and health aspects through:

  • Provide appropriate health care for members of their families (being updated)
  • Honoring the distinguished in different activities (scientific - literary - cultural – sports etc.)
  • Honoring the ideal mother on the mother’s day (active)
  • Organizing Hajj and Umrah trips (active)
  • Organizing entertaining trips (active)
  • Cooperating with the competent companies to provide durable goods and other products at reasonable prices or in installments. (active)
