Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abd El-Mawla, President of Assiut University, the Pharmaceutical Services and Bioavailability Center at the Faculty of Pharmacy organized a training workshop on the FT-IR instrument for faculty members, their assistants, researchers, and students.

The workshop was held under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Gihan Nabil Fetih, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, and Dr. Rana Mohamed Ibrahim Morsy, Director of the Pharmaceutical Services and Bioavailability Center.

The workshop program included both a theoretical and a practical component, providing participants with hands-on training on the FT-IR instrument and introducing its applications in chemical and pharmaceutical analyses.

The workshop was delivered by Mr. Alaa El-Din Mohamed Abdel Baset, Chemist, Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science.

The workshop was held on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at the laboratories of the Pharmaceutical Services and Bioavailability Center.
