Visit of His Excellency the University President to the 2025 Aptitude Tests
Visit | Assiut University President Inspects the Progress of the Aptitude Tests at the Faculty of Sports Sciences
As part of his field monitoring of the progress of the aptitude tests for high school students applying to the Faculty of Sports Sciences at Assiut University for the 2025/2026 academic year, His Excellency Professor Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, President of the University, made an official visit to the college on the morning of Wednesday, July 23, 2025. The visit aimed to monitor the regularity of students' performance in the tests and assess the college's readiness and organizational efficiency.
He was received by Professor Dr. Emad Samir, Dean of the College; Professor Dr. Yasser Hassan, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; Professor Dr. Ahmed Khedry, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research; Professor Dr. Mustafa El-Sebaei, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; and a group of faculty members. The visit included an inspection tour of the physical and skill testing sites, as well as the service facilities designated for students during the assessment period. The University President praised the good organization and discipline observed in the examination administration, appreciating the efforts made by the college administration, faculty members, and staff to ensure a safe and well-prepared environment that enables students to take the exams with the highest levels of efficiency and comfort.
This visit comes within the framework of Assiut University's commitment to providing the utmost support and care for its students and affirming its commitment to providing an educational and testing environment characterized by integrity and transparency. The university administration attaches great importance to the admissions process for practical colleges, particularly those requiring aptitude tests, to ensure the selection of qualified candidates, both academically and physically, in line with the nature and requirements of the study.
Professor Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy emphasized during the visit that the university spares no effort in supporting its colleges in various structural, organizational, and human resources aspects to ensure the continued provision of high-quality educational and training services. He noted that the university places students at the forefront of its priorities and always strives to provide a comprehensive university experience that includes academic qualifications, psychological support, and various activities. His Excellency also praised the active role played by the College of Sports Sciences in discovering and nurturing young athletic talent, emphasizing that the college is a vital entity contributing to strengthening the university's position locally and internationally in the field of sports sciences. He also emphasized that the university will continue to provide all forms of support to develop its sports education and training system. For his part, Professor Dr. Emad Samir, Dean of the College, expressed his great happiness with the visit of the University President, stressing that this visit represents significant moral support for the work system within the college and reflects the university administration's commitment to closely monitoring field details. His Excellency also indicated that the college has prepared early for the aptitude tests by forming specialized work teams, equipping the infrastructure to suit the nature of the tests, and providing all means of comfort and facilitation for applicants. This is in implementation of the university's directives to improve the quality of both the educational and elective processes.
