Mission

Carry out continuous improvement of animal nutrition and clinical nutrition course for students and work towards achieving a competent graduate able to react with nutritional field problems. In addition carrying eminent scientific research and applied studies in animal nutrition for the surrounding community. The department is planning to be a reference scientific center for feed analysis and rations formulation for farms; ration industries, as well as individuals as well as offering consultations when needed.

Objectives:

To teach and develop the course of animal nutrition and clinical nutrition and try to provide the necessary educational tools

Contribute to the construction of a good graduate who can interact with the problems of the field within the college system of education

Conducting applied and scientific research and studies in animal nutrition and clinical nutrition

To make the department a scientific reference center for conducting chemical analysis of feed and feed materials in farms, companies and individuals with the necessary consultation
