Department mission:

This department aims to prepare and qualify students academically and sufficiently to work in the state institutions, particularly "planning corporations", besides to work in the fields of education, land surveying of air, and civil/ military survey. The department endeavors to promote academic research in the fields of natural & human geography, serve national and regional enterprise as well as enhance cartography work and developing both the environment and society.

Department vision:

The aim of Geography department is to be an academic center with a particular character devoted to upgrading the local community in the fields of education, research and application in connection with the surrounding environment geography which is part of Egypt territory.
