About MBRU
The Unit Mission
- The unit mission is to provide scientific research and laboratory services to meet the professional needs and interests of scientific research community inside and outside Assiut University and to serve the community and promote the development of the environment. The unit also strive to advance technological capabilities and practical knowledge of post-graduate students as well as young researchers and to nurture and promote the professionalism of those engaged in scientific research via adopting ethically approved work protocols and offering series of workshops and training sessions.
The Unit Vision
- The MBRU seeks to achieve national and international recognition as an accredited reference research laboratory in the field of molecular biology and bioinformatics applications through commitment to the elements of quality and sustainable development.

- Enabling investigators to be at the forefront of their fields through centralized state-of-the-art instrumentation, specialized services, and expert consultation.
