The Faculty of Nursing at Assiut University, through its Nursing Department Committee of the Supreme Council of Universities, helped organize the 8th International Conference of the Faculty of Nursing at Assiut University.

Titled: "Innovative Nursing Education for Pioneering Research and Exceptional Practice"

A fruitful collaboration between Assiut University and Sphinx University will launch the 8th International Conference of the Faculty of Nursing – Assiut University. This collaboration will bring together a distinguished group of our leading scholars in the field of nursing from Egyptian and Arab universities, from February 8-9, 2026.

The conference also offers an opportunity to publish full research papers in a special issue of the Faculty of Nursing Journal, Assiut University.

Professor Dr. Fatima Rushdi Mohamed, Dean of the Faculty, stated that this eighth international conference is a joint effort between Assiut University and Sphinx University.

She added that this conference marks a new beginning in the field of nursing, aiming to strengthen relationships, exchange scientific expertise, encourage community engagement between universities, and motivate researchers to stay informed about the latest developments in the field. She emphasized that Assiut University is a leading institution and a hub for all Egyptian public and private universities.

This collaboration will result in a meeting of a select group of our distinguished scholars in the field of nursing at the level of Egyptian and Arab universities during the period from 8-9 February 2026 .

The conference also provides an opportunity to publish the full research papers in a special issue of the Faculty of Nursing Journal - Assiut University .

Professor Dr. Fatima Rushdi Muhammad, Dean of the College, stated that this eighth international conference brings together Assiut University and Sphinx University .

This conference is considered a new beginning in the field of nursing to strengthen relations, exchange scientific experiences, encourage community participation between universities, and encourage researchers to benefit from and learn about what is new in this field. Professor Dr. Fatima Rushdi Muhammad, Dean of the College, approved the results of the credit transfer program for the first semester of the 2025/2026 academic year. Professor Dr. Nadia Ibrahim Sayed, Head of the Credit Transfer Program Control ,

stated that 75 students took the exams.

The success rate exceeded 98.8 %.
