Our Mission:

The mission of South  Egypt Cancer Institute Cancer Biology division is to encourage and support basic research projects covering a broad spectrum of topics directed at understanding the biological basis of cancer.

 Our Goal:

The ultimate goal of the Cancer Biology department is discovering new information that has practical application on cancer detection or treatment.

►The department is composed of three main units :

Clinical Pharmacology Unit

               Studying the efficacy of chemotherapeutic drugs and monitoring their therapeutic level  

Molecular Biochemistry Unit

               Studying the biochemical and genetic changes occurring with cancer

Molecular Diagnostic Virology and Immunology Unit

               Studying the role of virology in the etiology of cancer
